Information
The nursery has a large play and recreation room, two bedrooms and quiet rooms, a modern kitchen, a child-friendly bathroom and its own directly accessible garden.
Our nursery is supported by the city of Munich as well as by the municipalities of Planegg, Gräfelfing, Krailling and Gauting.
In addition, the Max Planck Institutes for Biological Intelligence and for Biochemistry provide material and non-material support to the Klopferspitzchen nursery.
Costs
The costs currently amount to 350 euros per month. There is an additional charge of 3.30 euros per day for lunch and 20 euros per month for breakfast. The association fee is 20 euros per year. The deposit is twice the monthly fee.

Registration
If you would like to enroll your child in our daycare center, please fill out the following application legibly and send it to us by email (preferred, klopferspitzchen [at] neuro.mpg.de), by mail, or by fax. Places are usually available in September and place allocation is in the spring.
Team
The Klopferspitzchen team are: a director (educator), two nurses as well as a volunteer who work together and take care of 11 children.
Opening hours
Mo-Thu: 8 AM – 5 PM
Fr: 8 AM – 3:30 PM
Bring time: 8 AM to 8:45 AM
Pick-up time: 12:15 – 12:30 or 3 – 5 PM (Mo-Thu)
12:15 – 12:30 or 3 – 3:30 PM (Fr)
Daily Schedule
8:45-9:45 AM: Free play with activities such as kneading, painting
9:45-10:00 AM: Food (breakfast together)
10:00-10:30 AM: Clean up together, circle with songs, games or picture book viewing, etc.
10:30-11:30 AM: Practice dressing, play in the garden
11:30-12:15 AM: Lunch together (lunch is delivered by a delivery service specializing in children’s meals).
12:15-1:00 PM: Preparation for bedtime, e.g. looking at book, singing
1:00-2:30 PM: Midday nap /rest time
2:30-3:00 PM: Wake up together
3:00-3:30 PM: Afternoon snack (fruit) and start of pick-up time
3:30-5:00 PM: Free play indoors and outdoors
This daily schedule is of course variable and is adapted flexibly depending on the situation
